We work with children ages 6-10 who are experiencing anxiety, ADHD, aggression, OCD, attachement issues, low self-esteem, stress, bullying, poor self-regulation, and low ability to cope. We highly value and encourage parental involvement in therapy with children. Balanced Being Therapy integrates play based therapeutic approaches to engage children in the session. Making therapy 'fun' while also incorporating valuable information and teaching tools for emotional regulation and coping!
We work with adolescents and teenagers ages 11-17 who are experiencing anxiety, depression, attachment and relational issues, difficulties with peers, trauma, stress, body image, bullying, emotional regulation, and more. In our work with teens, we encourage parental involvement to an extent, as we always aim to honor the privacy and automony of the teen client. We strive to provide a safe space where the teen can feel heard, validated, and respected.
We provide counselling services to adults who are experiencing stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, attachment issues, trauma/PTSD, postpartum depression and/or anxiety, and more.
